You should visit the Administrative unit in a town, where you will be living, and register in advance for an appointment.
On the Slovenian Coast there are 3 Administrative units, in Koper, Izola and Piran

The Administrative Unit Koper is extremely busy and you should arrange an appointment.
Freshmen submit their first applications via the university. If you cannot secure an appointment in time, send your application with a registered mail, as it ensures that the application will be received on time.
